The Springboks made history by becoming the first team in the world to win four Rugby World Cup titles. To celebrate our heroes, Castle Lager launched the Taste of Victory, a limited new Castle Lager Can.
To make our Victory can, we packaged the sounds of 62 million cheers captured from the Stade de France in Paris, the arrivals hall at OR Tambo; the parade bus as the Victory tour traversed the country and everything in between. We were there with our microphones and we captured them all.
We then played these Sounds of Victory to our beer at the Rosslyn Brewery, literally brewing 62 million cheers into each barrel, crafting the limited edition Taste of Victory can. We made beers from literal cheers.
