Retroviral is thrilled to announce two wins in the EMEA SABRE IN2 awards, recognising innovation in PR, for Earned Media with Influencers + Communities with the campaign Be You. Period with Lil-Lets and for Mobile Apps with the campaign Sixty60 Swindler with Checkers Sixty60.
“Retroviral is the challenger brand for challenger brands and seeing two of our clients get recognition in the EMEA region for innovative PR is thrilling. We love to challenge ourselves and our clients to be brave and both of these campaigns represent a level of trust taken on the client side. To be recognised for them cements our belief in creating entertaining and effective content, that will drive earned media coverage” says Chief Creative Officer, Retroviral, Mike Sharman.
The Innovation SABREs were created as the In2 (Insight and Innovation) SABREs in 2013 as a vehicle for recognising the expanding scope of the public relations profession, from content creation across multiple channels—paid, earned, shared and owned—to the increasing use of data and analytics to inform, enhance, and evaluate campaign success.
“The quality of work from across the region was simply stunning,” said Paul Holmes, who chaired the EMEA SABRE judges. “We broadened the Innovation SABRE categories this year to include everything from virtual worlds to campaigns that combat disinformation, from gamification to behavioural science. Across all of these categories, PR firms and their clients are producing content that connects with consumers and other key stakeholders, using traditional tools and cutting-edge technologies. It’s genuinely inspiring.”
